Coming up: Meet Vax2Muc partners and discuss the future of H. pylori vaccines

For the past three years, Vax2Muc - a multinational, interdisciplinary EU Horizon project - has conducted research to develop next-generation mucosal vaccines. Specifically, researchers are looking into developing mucosal vaccination technologies that will trigger local immunity in the gastrointestinal tract and prevent pathogens such as H. pylori from causing disease.

This summer, they will present some of the results of their ongoing research at the 16th International Workshop on Pathogenesis and Host Response in Helicobacter Infections in Helsingør, Denmark. At the conference, the Vax2Muc consortium will co-organise a symposium on immunity and vaccines, during which they will discuss the current state of H. pylori mucosal vaccine research with conference participants.
